Generator Complete Service:(Engine, Alternator & Controls).

• Change lubrication oil.
• Replace oil filter and inspect base.
• Replace spark plugs (except for diesel units). 
• Inspect ignition coil wires and plug caps. 
• Inspect cooling system, clean fins (air-cooled),top off radiator. 
• Inspect fan guard for condition and security. 
• Inspect and clean air filter and pre-cleaner. 
• Replace fuel filters (diesel and gasoline). 
• Inspect engine gaskets, breathers and fuel regulation components for any fuel or oil leakage.
• Inspect and adjust engine belts, hoses and clamps. 
• Lubricate governor and carburetor linkage. 
• Load test battery and record VDC readings. 
• Service battery, add water to electrolyte and clean posts. 
• Check and record battery static and running charging rates 
• Inspect engine and battery heaters for proper operation

• Clean or replace air filters; ensure air intakes are clear.
• Inspect battery terminals; test battery under load.
• Check wiring, fuses, and connectors for damage.
• Test gauges, indicators, and startup/shutdown processes.
• Check for error codes or warning lights.
• Inspect for leaks or noise; ensure vents are unobstructed.
• Run generator to test performance and stability under load.
• Test automatic transfer switch (if applicable).
• Update maintenance logs; schedule follow-up as needed.
